In this workshop, we will look at Svadhyaya (Self Study), one of the Niyama's, which translates to "observances'' or "positive duties." Think of the Niyama's as a recommended habits for a healthy lifestyle and spiritual existence. Svadhyaya asks us to take an honest look at ourselves to understand who we are. When we step back to observe our thoughts, emotions, and actions, we connect with our inner awareness and step more into ourselves. Yoga allows us to dig deep, getting to know all parts of ourselves. This workshop will include a gentle asana practice, followed by reflection and journaling exercises ending in meditation. All are welcome. No experience needed! $25
